How to Set up Xbox 360 Controller for GoldenEye 007
Having played GoldenEye 007′s multiplayer, I feel confident saying that you should purchase this game upon its release. It’s a premium gaming product that will make you and three friends very, very happy. Throwing Oddjob’s killer hat is a great thing, made even better when using a blinged-out, gilded controller like the one you see.
I’ve scowered the interents looking for some screenshots or tips on how to do this but I’m coming up short. I want to be able to use the Xbox360 controller and play this game with little to no comprimize on the controls. I’ve been experimenting with them for a while now and the closest I got was the movement was perfect and fluid, but the second you ‘aim’ your gun (where the crosshairs display) the controllers go haywire. I heard you could set the game up in the options to run “two controllers”, and there might be a way to use both joysticks on the xbo360 controller in order to get a better grip on the game
GoldenEye 007 Xbox 360 Controller Settings:
C-Left on left joystick left, C-Right on left joystick right, analog up on left joystick up, analogue down on left joystick down, C-Up on right joystick up, C-Down on right joystick down, left analog on right joystick left, right analog on right joystick right.
Use N-Rage’s Input Plugin V2, uncheck real N64 range, set to 70%, go to devices, set deadzone to 10%.
This is the setup I use. Makes it run like a modern FPS and it feels quite nice
